Girls are dumb

Yes, girls are sneaky, manipulating, and sometimes just plain mean. Girls can make other girls feel embarrassed or stupid, or pretty much anything they want. They will steal the guy you've liked for years, or turn all your friends against you. Girls can twist any situation to make them win. But there is one thing that girls just can't seem to keep under control and they just turn weak for. BOYS. Boys make girls so unbelievably DUMB. There are so many girls out there that I would love to just shake and say GET A GRIP!

Ya see, we want to have everything under our control and even though that will never actually happen, we desperately try anyways. We will do anything in our power to make a guy like us, or to have a seemingly "perfect" life. But lets all be honest for once, sometimes, things just don't go like we always planned and we have to make changes. Not every guy that we like is going to fall in love with us. Not everything in our lives is going to go just the way we imagined them.

If a guy likes you and wants to be with you, trust me, you will know. If he isn't calling, or texting, and you always have to get in touch with him. He doesn't like you. Or maybe when you are together, all you do is hook up and then he goes on his merry little way. He doesn't like you. If you have to fight for attention from him or he seems like he never wants to be around you. He doesn't like you. Most of us know all of this. Deep down somewhere in your heart, you KNOW when a guy doesn't like you. It's obvious. But here is the part where I think most girls get really tripped up on. Are you ready?

THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.

Calling/texting him every day won't make him want you. Hooking up with him five, ten, or even one hundred more times isn't going to make him want you. That will just make him know that he can use you. Hanging all over him at the bar or when your out with friends also will not work. That will just annoy him and give him reasons to tell his friends you are psycho. When you know a guy doesn't like you, just quit wasting your time and move on.

Girls will spend years obsessing over that "one guy" when they could be out there finding the "right guy" Sometimes we have to admit that he just doesn't like us. It's not a big deal. Think of all the guys at the bar that hit on you and you turn them down. Those "guy friends" that confess their love to you out of left field that you had to turn down. Or even guys that you've dated that you turned down. It happens all the time. And it really is okay if it happens to you. It doesn't mean that there is something wrong with you. You are still just as beautiful and wonderful as you were before. That particular boy didn't see it, but the "right one" will see it from day one.

So girls, when a guy is treating you like yesterdays garbage, let him go. Move on and do something great. Find a guy that actually appreciates you, find something that you love to do, or have a huge girls night and talk about how retarded guys are. Just don't keep going back trying to prove that you can do something that you can't. Don't be that girl that guys use to get temporary satisfaction. The more time you spend doing that, the less time you have on finding someone who really loves you.

The spring semester of 2010 just started. I am taking 15 hours so my life is going to be much more studying and much less partying . I am enjoying the classes so far, but three of them are education classes (my minor) Unfortunatly for me I have never taken an education class and since they are junior/senior classes I am feeling a little behind everyone else. Hopefully that will change soon.
I just bought my first North Face jacket online and I have to admit that I am pretty excited about it! It's suppose to come in 2 days. It has been so dang cold here in Tallahassee!

Thought of the day- Stay positive, right when you think all is lost, you usually find your answer :)

Girls Nights!

I am a huge fan of girls nights. Every Thursday (almost) all the girls get together and go to our cardio kickboxing class and then come home, get in the shower and go to dinner. If we are doing a fancy night we go to Carrabbas for drinks and then out to our local watering hole, Kens Tavern. It is so great to get together with everyone, and of course it is non stop laughs. One night of the week everyone stops their busy lives so we can have bonding time. Last Thursday we made an extra stop at The Palace which was very fun too. It's another one of Tallahassee's bars with darts, pool tables, and of course, a jute box. Why we love Kens and Palace- they are free! No cover charge for girls on a tight budget makes the night that much better :) Our girls nights aren't always "out." Some of our funnest times are girls nights in! I love hanging out at home with 6 girls playing games like Doodle Tales and Mad Gab, jumping on the trampoline, and just acting like a bunch of 12 year olds. The memories we make are irreplaceable and absolutely wonderful. I hope that as long as I live we will continue to have girls night at least once a week.
